Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize scalable interfaces for online lane and map representation.
- Improve map interfaces supporting perception, prediction, and planning pipelines.
- Develop large-scale map deployment systems, including offline map generation, version control, and online tile-based LiDAR map loading.
- Maintain mapping watchdog and event mining systems for monitoring system health and anomalies.
- Enhance the mapping CI system for development and deployment workflows.
- Optimize offline 3D reconstruction pipelines.
- Collaborate with teams across perception, planning, control, simulation, and infrastructure to address dependencies and performance needs.
- Define data collection, preprocessing, labeling, and validation requirements with the operations team.
- Comply with Quality Management System requirements, monitor quality, and drive process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale, real-time C++ systems.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ and understanding of multithreading, multiprocessing, operating systems, and ROS.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with large-scale map data pipelines, distributed systems, CI/CD systems, and production-grade infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Preferred experience with mapping and localization algorithms such as LiDAR, visual odometry, SLAM, or Kalman filtering.
- Preferred experience working on offline 3D reconstruction systems.
