Base Salary
$140k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead secure design reviews, threat modeling, code reviews, and penetration testing for high-risk crypto custody, trading, and payments products
- Design and build Application Security tooling, including AI agents for secure design and code review
- Build AI-enhanced SAST/DAST pipelines and automation to eliminate repeatable security toil
- Partner with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve secure coding practices over the long term
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in application security or similar roles
- Experience performing design reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, or penetration testing
- Experience building or meaningfully contributing to security tooling and automation
- Strong knowledge of application security best practices and common vulnerabilities such as SSRF, race conditions, and privilege escalations
- Development or scripting experience with the ability to read and write code in Python, Scala, C++, or JavaScript
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Preferred experience building AI application security tooling using agents or skills
- Preferred experience with supply chain security, SLSA, OWASP SPVS, and other CI/CD security controls
- Preferred familiarity with regulated financial services, fintech, crypto, or equivalent environments
- Preferred experience preventing application security vulnerabilities at scale through secure design patterns, automated tooling, or frameworks
- Preferred experience with microservice architectures and cloud-native environments
