Base Salary
$100k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical architecture for internal manufacturing systems and MES workflows.
- Design and build production software for factory execution.
- Define system boundaries across ERP, MES, QMS, CRM, and internal applications.
- Establish engineering standards for APIs, data models, and operational reliability.
- Build reliable integration patterns that support future system changes.
- Partner with various stakeholders to translate operational complexity into usable software.
- Mentor future engineering hires and shape the technical culture of the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and shipping production software in fast-changing environments.
- Strong hands-on coding ability with recent contributions to production systems.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and reliable system workflows.
- Strong judgment around build-vs-buy decisions and system maintainability.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders outside engineering.
- Ability to reason about permissions, auditability, and data ownership.
- Ability to operate as a senior technical leader in a new function.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
