Responsibilities

  • Design and lead high-performance perception architectures using multiple LiDAR and camera sensors.
  • Research, prototype, and productize computer vision and deep learning papers and methods.
  • Develop multi-sensor fusion algorithms for LiDAR-LiDAR and LiDAR-camera systems and resolve complex edge cases.
  • Lead code reviews and design reviews while providing technical mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and develop optimization strategies using hardware acceleration such as CUDA and TensorRT.
  • Collaborate with product teams and other departments to define technical requirements and support roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and 5+ years of professional engineering experience, or equivalent Master’s/Ph.D. research experience.
  • Experience developing and deploying AI/ML-centric, high-performance commercial software to production.
  • Deep understanding of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and inference optimization.
  • Expertise in 3D geometry, calibration, state estimation, and SLAM.
  • Strong problem-solving ability for debugging and resolving complex system issues.
  • Experience leading technical decision-making at the team level.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with full-stack autonomous driving development, heterogeneous-sensor calibration, embedded deep learning optimization using NVIDIA Jetson, open-source contributions, or publications in relevant major conferences.
