Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services and APIs.
- Break complex features into components that can be delivered in parallel.
- Drive team-level projects from technical design through production readiness.
- Guide application design decisions and promote long-term maintainability.
- Identify and mitigate technical debt and operational risks.
- Improve system scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Conduct code and design reviews and mentor SDE peers.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, technical risks, and delivery plans.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience using AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in at least one backend language such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, and performant distributed systems.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements with stakeholders.
- Experience leading technical design for team-level initiatives.
- Experience operating and improving production systems in a cloud environment such as AWS.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases and data modeling trade-offs at scale.
- Experience growing and mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with DynamoDB or large-scale NoSQL data stores.
- Preferred experience designing multi-tenant platform services or shared infrastructure for diverse customer workloads at scale.
- Preferred experience leading complex initiatives involving multiple services or teams.
- Preferred understanding of observability, operational excellence, and performance optimization.
