Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions.
- Lead teams through software design and delivery while establishing development standards.
- Mentor team members and foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
- Monitor project progress and implement improvements to delivery timelines and quality.
- Design scalable, maintainable software architectures and contribute solutions to technical problems.
- Develop and support robust data pipelines using cloud-based data engineering platforms.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Experience with cloud-based data engineering and analytics platforms is required.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing and big data processing frameworks is required.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures is required.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization in cloud environments is required.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams to implement robust data pipelines is required.
- Ability to work independently, become a subject matter expert, and lead team discussions is expected.
