Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, support, and enhance Ab Initio-based data integration and software solutions.
- Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams while providing technical guidance, mentorship, and implementation direction.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, implementation plans, specifications, roadmaps, and delivery recommendations.
- Apply software architecture, database, data integration, cloud infrastructure, and design-pattern knowledge to scalable technology solutions.
- Manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, quality expectations, technical decisions, and delivery documentation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption based on business value, security, maintainability, sustainability, and operational impact.
- Manage vendor relationships and support contract, service, delivery, and performance discussions.
- Support technical issue resolution, root-cause analysis, operational readiness, process improvement, and technology governance.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in technology leadership, software development, data development, technology delivery, or a related field.
- Experience developing, implementing, supporting, or enhancing Ab Initio solutions and data-processing workflows.
- Strong knowledge of software development, software architecture, data structures, database management, data integration, cloud infrastructure, and secure technology practices.
- Experience leading cross-functional technology teams, managing projects, translating business requirements, and maintaining technical roadmaps.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, project-management tools, software development lifecycle activities, documentation, risk management, and process improvement.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and infrastructure, including deployment, scalability, availability, monitoring, security, and operational support.
- Preferred experience with Java, Python, Node.js, relational or non-relational databases, data warehousing, data quality, metadata, data lineage, data governance, containers, infrastructure as code, distributed systems, and enterprise data platforms.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
- Preferred certification or training in Ab Initio, cloud computing, Agile delivery, project management, software architecture, data management, security, or vendor management.
