Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex systems and features.
- Make architectural decisions focused on scalable, robust, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute hands-on coding, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
- Own significant modules or projects from conception through deployment and maintenance.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across environments.
- Diagnose complex technical issues, optimize performance, and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver application solutions.
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
- Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level engineers and other colleagues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in Java and microservices architecture, design, and implementation.
- Proven experience in release management across software environments.
- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, databases, and API design.
- Experience leading technical projects and/or teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
