Responsibilities

Analyze customer RFPs, identify requirements and gaps, and develop tailored technical solutions for urban mass transit projects.
Prepare Requirements Compliance, Design Validation, Technical Offer, and Engineering Effort Estimate outputs for bid managers.
Act as the main technical interface between customers, internal engineering teams, subcontractors, partners, and international departments.
Define and manage system requirements, customer-needs specifications, interface specifications, and system-level design documentation.
Apply systems engineering methods and contribute to the physical and logical architecture, integration planning, and validation of Automatic Fare Collection systems.
Ensure consistency of engineering processes, practices, tools, and solution elements across projects.
Occasionally travel for coordination meetings in France or other locations.

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in technical solution design, preferably in mass transit or transportation technology.
Experience analyzing RFPs, developing technical proposals, and costing engineering effort.
Demonstrated systems engineering experience, including deployment of complex critical systems and integration with third-party components.
Experience with web-oriented architecture solutions.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work across multicultural, international, and multi-time-zone teams.
Experience in transportation, rail, or Automatic Fare Collection is preferred.
Experience with back-office financial systems or open payment solutions is preferred.

Full-time, non-remote position based in Cairo, Egypt.
Occasional travel to France or other locations for coordination meetings.
