Responsibilities
- Define and create solution workflows accounting for all aspects and use cases.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and recommend integration methods.
- Ensure implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure.
- Present application solution architecture when necessary.
- Collaborate with Systems and Firmware teams to define and document solution workflows.
- Address technical concerns, ideas, and suggestions.
- Develop and test software systems or applications for enhancements and new products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least five years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role.
- At least five years of experience with object-oriented software development, web application development, and REST services.
- At least five years of experience in Windows, Linux, or Unix environments and with application frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or .NET.
- At least five years of experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or similar systems.
- At least five years of experience with Java, C# and its ecosystems, service-oriented architecture, and web applications.
- At least five years of experience with object-oriented programming, MVC concepts, JDBC, RESTful technologies, GUI frameworks, and concurrency patterns in Java.
- At least two years of utility domain experience.
