Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications.
- Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Drive distributed-system design decisions focused on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes-based deployments across cloud environments.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD and Helm.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure cloud solutions.
- Optimize application performance, cost efficiency, and operational reliability.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on cloud architecture and development best practices.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Influence technical direction and drive innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot development.
- Proven experience designing and building distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Mandatory hands-on production experience with Kubernetes.
- Mandatory working knowledge of Helm and Argo CD.
- Deep experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native patterns, scalability, and resilience design.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Preferred familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Preferred exposure to observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Preferred experience in high-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ownership mindset, and ability to influence technical direction.
