Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of native iOS applications for performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical direction and code-level leadership for Android development.
- Define mobile engineering standards, best practices, and reusable components.
- Implement on-device and cloud-based ML capabilities in mobile applications.
- Improve mobile CI/CD pipelines, crash analytics, performance monitoring, observability, and alerting.
- Use Firebase and Xcode Instruments for monitoring and performance analysis.
- Mentor junior mobile engineers and promote best practices across iOS and Android development.
- Partner with Product, Design, Backend, Data, AI, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver mobile solutions.
- Manage Datadog dashboards, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics monitoring, and mobile application alerts.
- Operate in an AI-driven software development lifecycle using tools such as GitHub Copilot and Xcode AI integrations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of mobile development experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role focused on iOS.
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and UIKit.
- Working knowledge of Kotlin and Android architecture components.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Fastlane, and Firebase.
- Familiarity with App Store and Google Play deployment processes, including TestFlight and internal testing tracks.
- Experience with cloud-connected mobile architectures using Azure or AWS.
- Strong understanding of mobile security best practices and OAuth2.
- Ability to implement accessibility standards including WCAG and ARIA.
- Experience managing Datadog dashboards, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics monitoring, and mobile alerts.
- Experience with automated testing, unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with AI-enhanced workflows.
- Strong project organization skills, including budgeting and scope management, and strong communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes fintech or consumer-facing mobile platforms, mobile payments, identity verification, push notification systems, open-source mobile libraries, or technical publications.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship and meet the Los Angeles location requirement.
Benefits
- Structured hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office, with remote flexibility on the remaining days.
- Position is open only to candidates currently residing in Los Angeles, California.
- Regular position with a targeted base salary of $149,000 to $214,300 per year.
