Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of native iOS applications for performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical direction and code-level leadership for Android development and cross-platform consistency.
- Define mobile engineering standards, best practices, reusable components, and scalable mobile architecture.
- Implement on-device and cloud-based ML capabilities in mobile applications.
- Improve mobile CI/CD pipelines, crash analytics, performance monitoring, observability, and alerting.
- Use Firebase and Xcode Instruments for monitoring and performance analysis.
- Mentor junior mobile engineers and promote strong iOS and Android development practices.
- Partner with Product, Design, Backend, Data, AI, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver mobile solutions.
- Operate in an AI-driven SDLC using GitHub Copilot and Xcode AI integrations.
- Manage Datadog dashboards, monitors, alerts, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics for mobile applications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of mobile development experience, including 3+ years in an iOS-focused technical leadership role.
- Expert proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and UIKit.
- Working knowledge of Kotlin and Android architecture components.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Fastlane, Firebase, and cloud-connected mobile architecture using Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with App Store and Google Play deployment, including TestFlight and internal testing tracks.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth2, mobile security, WCAG, and ARIA accessibility standards.
- Experience with Datadog dashboards, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, crash reporting, user behavior tracking, automated testing, unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment with AI-enhanced workflows and strong project organization and communication skills.
- Fintech or consumer-facing mobile experience, mobile payments, identity verification, push notification systems, open-source contributions, or technical publications are preferred.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet the Los Angeles, California location requirement.
