Responsibilities
- Analyze system and coding needs, identify problems, and propose program specifications and solutions.
- Develop, modify, test, debug, and support complex software components according to established plans and deadlines.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and software components while designing solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Review code and design quality, and support and guide project teams to deliver quality code on schedule.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in regression testing strategies to improve application stability.
- Provide level-one application support and maintenance and resolve complex anomalies.
- Organize and manage production sessions and explain technical and business system features to colleagues and users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5–8 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data, take initiative, work under pressure, collaborate in a team, and maintain attention to detail.
- GenAI development experience is an asset.
- Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec because of regular interaction with English-speaking colleagues across Canada.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada; Canadian work experience is not required.
