Responsibilities
- Analyze and solve complex software engineering problems using scientific methods.
- Develop, design, maintain, and optimize software solutions and applications.
- Apply software engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Operate independently in highly complex environments and take responsibility for a substantial aspect of organizational activity.
- Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders as a team player.
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients and consider commercial and negotiating principles.
- Help recruit and develop people while balancing business, technical, and people objectives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently in highly complex environments and exercise original thought and judgment.
- Ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices and the applicable discipline.
- Ability to manage difficult and complex situations calmly and professionally.
- Demonstrated leadership balancing business, technical, and people objectives.
