Responsibilities
- Build and maintain innovative, secure, robust, customer-centric, high-performance software solutions.
- Ship large features and improvements with minimal guidance and collaborate on larger engineering projects.
- Solve high-scope, high-complexity technical problems and translate business requirements into software designs.
- Communicate designs to developers and review code, features, technology, architecture, and designs.
- Set standards for code quality and testing across the product.
- Mentor junior engineers, help them develop technical responsibilities, and remove blockers to autonomy.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business leadership on technical strategy, scalability, and growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 12+ years of programming experience.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing the role.
- Preferred experience scaling products from 0-to-1 and 1-to-100.
- Preferred experience with Python, Django, React, MongoDB, and AWS.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Ability to identify areas of impact and independently pursue them in an ambiguous environment.
- Passion for solving customer problems.
