Responsibilities
- Plan, design, write, maintain, and execute test strategies and test plans.
- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
- Test iOS/macOS applications, mobile apps, cloud-based frameworks, and framework APIs.
- Validate GenAI tools, on-device ML and AI features, and AI-adjacent projects.
- Report bugs using strong isolation and regression techniques.
- Drive quality and process improvements and help ensure features are ready for release.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and coordinate multifunctional testing efforts.
- Communicate technical concepts, priorities, progress, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or in similar engineering roles.
- Fluency in Python, Swift, and/or JavaScript for prototyping features and creating and testing with internal tools.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks using XCTest, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
- Proficiency testing iOS/macOS and/or mobile apps, cloud-based frameworks, and framework APIs.
- Experience developing or validating GenAI tools or working on AI-adjacent projects.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools such as Jenkins or Xcode Server.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with creator or creative platforms, Apple-platform automation, photo/video/cloud editing workflows, large-scale web applications, and cross-platform test automation.
