Quality Engineer
StackAdaptResponsibilities
- Develop in-house automated and functional test scripts and tooling for functional, system, API, integration, UI, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with Platform, Product, DevOps, and other teams to deploy and run automated tests in test environments through CI/CD.
- Provide timely test-result feedback to the Platform Team, QA team, and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and architectural decision-making.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional, hands-on test automation experience.
- Experience with API and UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, or JUnit.
- Fluency in at least one of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems.
- In-depth understanding of QA methodologies in software companies with short release cycles.
- Experience writing edge-case, negative-case, compatibility, and concurrency tests in tools such as TestRail.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Hands-on SQL experience and the ability to query large datasets.
