Software Engineer II (Android)
TripAdvisorResponsibilities
- Write and maintain Android application code and occasionally contribute to backend microservices.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define specifications and deliver high-quality customer features.
- Own software engineering work from design and implementation through development experience, QA, deployment, and maintenance.
- Work with global engineering teams and adopt new technologies to solve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial software development experience.
- Experience developing Android applications and familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies.
- Experience with reactive programming on native mobile platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and day-to-day decision-making.
- Ability to break down complex problems, learn new technologies, communicate effectively, and take ownership of work.
