Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend systems for lawful data access requests.
- Create reliable data pipelines and interfaces for accurate record handling.
- Implement security measures like least-privilege access and audit trails.
- Translate legal and operational requirements into technical designs.
- Identify automation opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Own production systems through testing and continuous reliability improvements.
- Define architecture and roadmap for privacy and legal infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience with systems for lawful data access requests.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and production service experience.
- Ability to reason about correctness, authorization, and privacy.
- Track record of translating ambiguous requirements into actionable plans.
- End-to-end ownership of systems and comfort with learning new domains.
- Focus on operator experience and improving complex workflows.
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Legal, and Privacy stakeholders.
