Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship Android features in a large production application.
- Contribute to Android infrastructure to keep delivery fast and reliable.
- Review code, provide developer feedback, and write technical documentation.
- Lead development initiatives involving new technologies, engineering practices, code quality, and architecture.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on technology, design, and product direction.
- Triage product and application issues and respond to customer problems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing high-quality Android applications.
- Strong understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle and Android SDK components, lifecycle behavior, performance, permissions, data persistence, and Gradle builds.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android user interfaces.
- Experience with concurrency and coroutines, architectural decision-making, MVVM, and multi-tier architecture.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience with automated testing, Play Store publishing, data structures and algorithms, and AI/LLM tools used in development.
- Preferred experience with Dagger/Hilt, OkHttp, Retrofit, Espresso, and kakao.
- Familiarity with mobile accessibility, OAuth, mobile authentication, data safety, Material Design, mobile UX, and mobile design patterns.
