Responsibilities
- Manage the production Kubernetes environment and maintain the 99.5% application uptime SLA.
- Develop and maintain multi-branch Jenkins pipelines and one-click build automation.
- Write automation scripts using Terraform and Python.
- Operate AWS cloud infrastructure and EKS clusters.
- Implement and use observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Sensu Go.
- Work with Rancher and Helm Charts for Kubernetes operations.
- Upgrade Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar, and other open-source tools.
- Troubleshoot Java build failures with development teams.
- Critique software product design and architecture and contribute to its evolution from inception.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience developing with AWS.
- Excellent knowledge of Jenkins and Kubernetes.
- Expert hands-on knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes EKS clusters.
- Good understanding of cloud environments and the overall DevOps tool stack.
- Hands-on experience with Rancher, Helm Charts, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Ability to write automation scripts in Terraform and Python.
- Ability to troubleshoot Java build failures.
- Experience upgrading Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar, and similar open-source tools is preferred.
