Responsibilities

Develop key components of the financial exchange platform.
Design, develop, implement, maintain, analyze, test, and debug Java/Kotlin applications.
Refactor and redesign platform components to improve scalability, maintainability, and long-term performance.
Translate requirements into technical specifications and identify production and non-production application issues.
Ensure product designs meet users’ security, resilience, and confidentiality needs.
Create documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production issues to maintain stability and high availability.
Coach and mentor development team members and contribute ideas for product improvements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
8+ years of relevant professional experience.
Proven software engineering experience with Java, Kotlin, or other JVM-based languages.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including databases, concurrency, security, and networking.
Experience contributing to a development team that delivered a successful large-scale product.
Experience with relational database management systems, message queues, and Public Key Infrastructure.
Experience deploying and operating services in containerized environments, including Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
Experience working with REST APIs.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.
