Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and support native iOS applications and client-facing mobile features.
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain accessible, responsive, and reusable mobile experiences.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services and troubleshoot asynchronous processing, service errors, and application state.
- Create unit tests and automated user-interface tests using Xcode frameworks, Appium, or comparable technologies.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and diagnose build, testing, and deployment issues.
- Apply dependency injection, reactive architecture, asynchronous programming, MVVM, coordinator patterns, and modular architecture.
- Troubleshoot memory, performance, integration, and production issues and implement logging, monitoring, defensive programming, and observability.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, quality, and engineering partners and communicate technical decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop conversational, chatbot, voice, streaming, and AI-enabled mobile interactions.
- Support platform, SDK, operating-system, and application-store upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Seven or more years of professional native iOS development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Swift, Combine, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Advanced software development skills demonstrated through scalable, maintainable iOS applications.
- Experience applying user-interface design and accessibility principles, including VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and troubleshooting service and application-state issues.
- Experience creating unit tests and automated user-interface tests using Xcode frameworks, Appium, or comparable technologies.
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and diagnosing build, testing, and deployment issues.
- Experience implementing dependency injection and modern mobile design patterns.
- Preferred experience with reactive architecture, asynchronous programming, MVVM, coordinator patterns, modular architecture, test-driven development, behavior-driven development, Agile delivery, and iterative product development.
- Preferred experience designing conversational, chatbot, voice, streaming, or real-time mobile interactions.
- Preferred experience using AI-assisted development tools and validating AI-generated work for accuracy, security, maintainability, and production readiness.
- Ability to evaluate ambiguous information, influence technical decisions, communicate clearly, and build agreement across distributed teams.
