Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex Java software solutions for customer projects.
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain sustainable software solutions in cross-functional teams.
- Use AI-supported tools and contribute to the development of agent-based and modern software engineering approaches.
- Take technical responsibility while focusing on software quality and customer satisfaction.
- Coach junior and less experienced developers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Support customer workshops and presales activities.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science or a related field from a university, ETH, or university of applied sciences.
- At least 5 years of experience in analysis, design, and development with Java.
- Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and basic knowledge of SOAP for legacy integration.
- Practical experience with relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL, as well as complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Practical experience with AI-supported development and new engineering approaches such as Agentic Engineering.
- Ideally, knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience mentoring junior developers.
- Fluent German at least at C1 level and English at least at B2 level.
