Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, scalable, reusable UI components using React.
- Build complex multi-step application and corporate onboarding journeys with a strong focus on user experience.
- Implement role-based and dynamic UI behavior, including application state, validations, and error handling.
- Integrate UI components with REST APIs, backend services, upstream systems, downstream systems, and external APIs.
- Develop and enhance backend services using Java.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code with unit and integration test coverage.
- Participate in technical design discussions and translate business requirements into engineering solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues across UI, API, and integration layers.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, UX, QA, and dependent engineering teams.
- Own assigned features through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of software engineering experience with significant hands-on UI development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, including components and hooks.
- Experience with state management, form handling, validations, responsive UI development, component reusability, REST API integration, and error handling.
- Experience building enterprise-grade, customer-facing web applications.
- Understanding of accessibility and secure UI development practices.
- Hands-on experience with Java; Spring Boot experience is preferred.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including API contracts, request/response models, validations, and error handling.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL persistence as applicable.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- Experience integrating enterprise services and external APIs.
