Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web application components and backend services.
- Build responsive frontend features with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and component-based UI patterns.
- Develop and support Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend application components.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, documentation, and software delivery practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues using application data, logs, and system behavior analysis.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, operations, and engineering teams to deliver technology solutions.
- Apply secure coding, maintainability, resiliency, performance, and software development lifecycle practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied software engineering experience.
- Hands-on software engineering experience from professional roles, internships, academic projects, or relevant project work.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and React.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend build tooling such as Vite or Webpack.
- Experience developing component-based, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces.
- Exposure to testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Playwright, React Testing Library, smoke testing, or integration testing.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, cloud platforms, deployment, debugging, troubleshooting, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Preferred experience includes payments or financial services, AWS, Kafka, event-driven architecture, API gateways, monitoring, logging, production support, and AI-enabled development tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and coding skills in one or more programming languages.
