Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web application and backend software components.
- Build responsive frontend features using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and component-based UI patterns.
- Develop and support Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend application components.
- Write secure, maintainable code and participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot application issues by analyzing application data, logs, and system behavior.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and software delivery improvements.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, operations, and engineering teams to deliver technology solutions.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and React.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend build tools such as Vite or Webpack.
- Experience developing component-based, responsive, maintainable, and accessible user interfaces.
- Exposure to testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit, Playwright, React Testing Library, smoke testing, and integration testing.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, CI/CD, resiliency, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with payments or financial services, AWS, Kafka, event-driven architecture, monitoring, logging, performance analysis, and AI-enabled development tools.
