Base Salary
$200k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the technical vision for secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platform services.
- Lead legacy infrastructure modernization and guide application teams toward modern service-based deployments.
- Establish platform reliability practices including SLOs, observability, operational readiness, incident response, and KPI improvement.
- Improve deployment safety, security controls, data protection, and asset management.
- Build developer tooling, feedback loops, and self-service capabilities to improve engineering productivity.
- Mentor engineers and influence architecture, standards, and execution across teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years building and operating mission-critical platforms across DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, or software engineering.
- Principal-level architecture judgment across scalability, reliability, security, observability, and operational excellence.
- Advanced expertise with AWS across compute, networking, storage, identity, containers, serverless, messaging, data, and observability services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, ArgoCD, deployment automation, infrastructure as code, source control, production scripting, and CI/CD.
- Ability to contribute to cross-functional architecture forums and shape platform investments through collaborative technical leadership.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and establishing durable engineering standards.
