Responsibilities
- Lead complex infrastructure initiatives supporting business applications.
- Establish and promote SRE standards involving observability, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, problem management, automation, and operational resilience.
- Analyze high-impact outages and implement processes to reduce operational risk and recurring incidents.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and organizational partners.
- Develop or guide AI-assisted incident triage, root cause analysis, workflow automation, proactive remediation, and self-healing capabilities.
- Evaluate software solutions, influence technical designs, identify project risks, and collaborate with technology teams and vendors.
- Direct risk and control activities and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 5+ years of experience developing software, automation, or data processing solutions using Python.
- 5+ years of experience with observability and monitoring technologies such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, or similar tools.
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
- Strong knowledge of SRE principles, including observability, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, problem management, and operational resilience.
- Experience developing Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions and knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI-assisted workflows, and API-based AI integrations.
- Experience with workflow automation, low-code/no-code platforms, operational telemetry, data analytics, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence engineering practices across teams.
- Must be able to work onsite at one of the posted locations.
