Responsibilities
- Execute software design, development, troubleshooting, and technical solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate with supporting systems.
- Use and critically validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are reflected in the code.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Guide peers on responsible and secure use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, core Java, and AWS.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using Java, database querying languages, and AWS.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile-related engineering practices.
- Solid understanding of core Java and AWS services.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
