Base Salary
$176k - $308k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own a major exploitability-engine component end to end, including its design, delivery, production operation, and quality.
- Make subsystem architecture and interface decisions and define metrics such as entity-resolution accuracy, calibration quality, and path-ranking precision.
- Take ambiguous systems from design through scalable production and drive design and code reviews.
- Provide technical direction, mentor engineers, and lead workstreams through influence.
- Partner with product, security R&D, and SecOps to translate customer problems into subsystem design.
- Establish AI safety, security, governance, and policy guardrails for agentic subsystem components.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience, including leading the design and delivery of complex production components.
- Demonstrated ownership or technical leadership of a significant system or subsystem.
- Hands-on experience building AI/ML-powered production systems, including probabilistic modeling, graph analytics, calibration, or evaluation.
- Modern AI experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic workflows, model evaluation, or AI observability.
- Expert-level Python and/or strong experience with Java, Go, TypeScript, or a similar language.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, APIs, databases, and scalable architectures.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Security-product or cybersecurity experience, or familiarity with modern security architectures and operations, is strongly preferred.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Windsurf is a plus.
- Experience with AI evaluation, safety, governance, or policy guardrails is a plus.
