Base Salary
$117k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support embedded software for satellite terminal products.
- Participate in software design, development, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with software engineers and other engineering teams to deliver quality software on schedule.
- Evaluate software designs and existing codebases while contributing as an individual engineer.
- Work as part of an agile development team and travel up to 10%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience using C/C++ and Python.
- 3–5 years of experience with Linux/UNIX.
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented methodology and development.
- Experience using AI tooling in software development.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience includes Rust, unit testing, POSIX, Bash shell scripting, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Linux kernel development, multithreaded programming, Git, and RF or satellite communications principles.
