Base Salary
$97k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded, real-time control software for advanced tactical radio applications.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, implementation, and automated testing.
- Sustain a fielded communication system by addressing security findings and implementing system improvements.
- Design and evaluate hardware/software interfaces, system requirements, reliability, performance, and compliance.
- Develop test procedures, analyze results using modeling and test tools, participate in peer reviews, and identify and resolve defects.
- Maintain technical documentation and artifacts according to project and customer standards.
- Travel occasionally as needed to support program requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of prior related experience, a graduate degree with two years of prior related experience, or eight years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Python, Java, C, or C++.
- Experience programming in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Strong development skills covering design concepts, code reviews, and clear debugging logic.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret or TS-SCI clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
- Preferred experience includes CI/CD pipeline development, Docker deployments, FPGA systems, TypeScript, hardware-interfacing software, and test automation.
