Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards for DevOps processes and tools.
- Automate development, testing, release, and application deployment into runtime environments.
- Contribute to security best practices that support application security early in development.
- Design and manage decoupled environments for independent application and infrastructure development.
- Assess and optimize the technology stack according to industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to support application and testing needs.
- Mentor fellow engineers in developing DevOps experience and taking on DevOps responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of DevOps engineering experience.
- Experience with Jenkins, Ubuntu, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Shell, and Python scripting.
- Experience managing infrastructure and application deployment across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery patterns.
- Strong networking experience with TCP/IP, WAN, gateways, switching/routing, and cloud networking.
- Experience with one or more virtualization or container environments, infrastructure-as-code tools, configuration and provisioning tools, monitoring tools, or logging and analytics tools.
- Preferred experience includes Linux, Docker, Chef, Terraform, Sensu, Python, Go, Rust, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
