Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software builds, testing, and deployments using Jenkins.
- Manage Artifactory repositories for storage, versioning, and distribution of binaries and dependencies.
- Implement static code analysis and security gates with SonarQube and CheckmarxOne.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Ansible, including reusable roles, Jinja2 templates, and environment-specific inventories.
- Provision and manage OpenShift cloud infrastructure for secure, cost-effective, and performant operations.
- Package applications with Docker and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and cross-functional teams within a SAFe Agile Release Train and with European counterparts.
- Participate in code reviews and communicate technical issues and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Git and Git workflows, including tools such as GitHub and GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, preferably OpenShift.
- Expertise with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Hands-on experience with Artifactory, SonarQube, Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Understanding of networking concepts and Linux or Windows system administration.
- Excellent English communication, problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.
