Base Salary
$90k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, maintain, and monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management.
- Develop secure, scalable AI-powered applications and cybersecurity solutions for enterprise systems, applications, and data.
- Build agentic AI, RAG, evaluation, guardrail, and MCP-based integrations for internal tools and data sources.
- Support cloud-native microservices, APIs, automated deployments, testing, observability, and cost monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents, investigate corrective actions, and coordinate with managed security providers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in a related field.
- Python programming experience and experience with at least one object-oriented language, preferably Java.
- Experience with agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, workflow control, MCP, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and enterprise data grounding.
- Experience with AI evaluation, prompt engineering, hallucination measurement, guardrails, prompt-injection defense, and unsafe-tool-invocation prevention.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agent Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager; equivalent Azure or AWS experience is considered.
- Experience with SQL, relational, NoSQL, and vector databases; microservices and APIs; CI/CD and DevOps practices; Git; and automated deployment tools.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, sensitive-data handling, data classification, model endpoint controls, and retention.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, cyber threat intelligence, detection engineering, or offensive security.
- Experience with debugging, monitoring, root cause analysis, observability, LLM application cost monitoring, and unit, functional, integration, performance, and automated testing.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript frameworks for internal tools and dashboards.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
