Responsibilities
- Design and build customer-facing user interfaces for massively distributed, web-scale data protection systems.
- Deliver high-quality UI features and continuously improve product quality through automation.
- Collaborate with Product Management and User Experience teams on mockups and UI design.
- Work with backend engineers on interfaces and end-to-end testing.
- Address performance, scalability, resiliency, asynchronous programming, and distributed-system challenges.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience developing and troubleshooting UI in large-scale distributed systems.
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science, with proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Strong understanding of UX and UI design principles.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries such as React and Angular.
- Experience with large-scale engineering challenges and highly available distributed systems.
- In-depth understanding of the web development process, including design, development, and deployment.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and mitigation approaches.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, written communication, and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
