Responsibilities
- Own and deliver high-performance, accessible, cross-browser-compatible frontend features end to end.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to build user-facing functionality for the JioHotstar website and TV application.
- Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them using reusable code and cross-functional libraries.
- Contribute to the company’s in-house design system.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, data flow diagrams, and code comments.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and participate in code reviews while maintaining a high operational excellence standard.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience as a frontend developer.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and strong knowledge of browser behavior.
- Understanding of design and architecture patterns.
- Experience with React or AngularJS.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with frontend build tools such as Grunt or Gulp.
- Open source contributions are preferred.
