Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML-enabled applications using agent-based workflows, LLM integration, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Design agent application architectures covering orchestration, tool use, memory management, and external-system integrations.
- Build and maintain RAG pipelines for document processing, embeddings, retrieval, prompt assembly, and response optimization.
- Integrate LLMs using APIs, AI frameworks, and protocols such as MCP.
- Develop Python-based REST services supporting data retrieval, system integration, agent workflows, and application functionality.
- Support full-stack development and enterprise deployment of production-ready AI applications.
- Process structured and unstructured data and refine Postgres schemas and data models for scalability and performance.
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, usability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with the senior labor category requiring 8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 7 with a master’s degree, or 6 with a doctorate.
- Active/current TS/SCI U.S. government security clearance with required polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to work onsite full time.
- Proficiency in Python and common data/AI libraries.
- Experience developing AI/ML applications, including LLM-integrated applications or RAG workflows.
- Experience with agent-based programming, AI frameworks, tool-based LLM applications, and foundational AI/ML concepts.
- Experience designing, developing, or integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with production application practices involving reliability, maintainability, testing, and deployment.
- Preferred experience includes MCP, full-stack agent applications, FastAPI or Flask, LLM memory and optimization, vector databases, embedding models, semantic search, Docker, AWS, Postgres, and data transformation.
