Responsibilities
- Plan and define test strategies, test plans, test cases, and scenarios for Salesforce solutions.
- Perform manual, automated, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and validate Salesforce functionality, customizations, and integrations.
- Identify, document, track, report, and help resolve defects using defect tracking systems.
- Manage Salesforce test environments and sandboxes while ensuring data integrity.
- Assess testing risks, recommend mitigations, and report test execution status, coverage, metrics, and defect trends.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to support high-quality delivery.
- Maintain testing documentation and mentor junior testers and team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of software testing experience, including at least 2 years of Salesforce QA testing.
- Proficiency testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom solutions.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as Jira or Bugzilla.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Preferred Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.
- Preferred experience with Agile/Scrum development teams, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce integration tools, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions.
