Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- Build reusable, maintainable, responsive mobile UI components and deliver moderately complex mobile features independently.
- Integrate applications with backend services and implement authentication, authorization, secure storage, session management, state management, caching, offline handling, and synchronization.
- Use native mobile capabilities including location, camera, notifications, background tasks, and device storage when required.
- Optimize application performance, stability, startup time, and resource usage, and troubleshoot defects, crashes, API integration issues, and platform-specific behavior.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests and participate in code reviews and mobile architecture improvements.
- Support application builds, releases, deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play, and production support.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Backend, and DevOps teams throughout development and release.
- Use GitHub Copilot and other approved AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, refactoring, and productivity while maintaining code quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native and practical experience with Expo and its ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript and good understanding of React concepts, component architecture, hooks, state management, and reusable UI design.
- Experience developing and consuming backend APIs and working with mobile navigation, application state management, local storage, and asynchronous data handling.
- Understanding of iOS and Android platform differences and the mobile application lifecycle.
- Experience with Git, collaborative development workflows, debugging, profiling, testing, and troubleshooting mobile applications.
- Understanding of mobile security concepts, authentication, authorization, and secure storage.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to analyze requirements and independently deliver moderately complex mobile features.
- Good communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
