Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- Own assigned Krak features from technical design through release and post-launch iteration.
- Build maintainable, performant, and resilient screens and components using established architecture and design patterns.
- Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and apply engineering standards.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and communicate proposals and trade-offs.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers to deliver customer-focused features.
- Improve code quality, shared components, and tooling across the Krak mobile codebase.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience focused on web or mobile applications.
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript with hands-on React Native experience.
- Experience integrating and consuming APIs with attention to mobile security and performance.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks and modern frontend build pipelines and tooling.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and consumer experience design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Preferred qualifications include native iOS or Android development, React Native animations, Next.js, WebSockets, Rust or similar languages, async architectures, microservices, and consumer payments, crypto, fintech, or large-scale financial products.
- Open-source contributions or broader engineering community involvement are also preferred.
