Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building full-stack, distributed microservice solutions for regulatory and risk-management needs.
- Develop and deploy robust cloud-based solutions using multiple programming languages, databases, containers, orchestration services, and AWS tools.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams, establish engineering standards and design patterns, and mentor engineers.
- Partner with product managers and architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, refactor systems, reduce technical debt, optimize distributed-system performance, and influence long-term technology strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, database and cloud experience, open-source contribution, frontend framework experience, API development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, AI-based coding tools, mentoring, and technical leadership.
