Responsibilities
- Develop Java and Spring Boot backend applications.
- Design and deploy cloud-native applications on Azure using App Services, AKS, Functions, and Storage.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for releases across environments.
- Deliver low-latency, high-reliability solutions with product owners and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation, including Terraform-based provisioning.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Java 11 or above, with Java 17 listed as a required skill.
- 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including at least 2 years in microservices architecture.
- Experience building Spring Boot or similar applications and using Hibernate/JPA patterns with Spring.
- Ability to write optimized SQL queries and basic Unix/Linux commands, with operating-system awareness.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably AKS.
- Experience with GitLab, CI/CD tools, IntelliJ, or VS Code.
- Preferred skills include Databricks, PL/SQL, AKS architecture and best practices, Helm chart creation, Terraform, shell scripting, Python, and UI technologies such as Node or React.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
