Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features that improve search engine visibility, AI answer engine performance, and organic traffic.
- Build and maintain a modular React email component library that compiles to secure, client-safe HTML.
- Develop responsive and accessible HTML/CSS emails and improve the Next.js preview, compilation, validation, and export pipeline.
- Contribute to SEO and AEO data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Execute dynamic CRM campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels using structured blocks, templates, JSON/YAML configuration, Braze, REST APIs, and webhooks.
- Build automation and internal tooling for SEO experimentation, CRM deep-link validation, token coverage, QA, and campaign setup.
- Improve code performance, observability, cost efficiency, search rankings, LLM visibility, campaign rendering fidelity, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot cross-device rendering and logic issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement system-level fixes.
- Collaborate with product, design, marketing, creative, and engineering partners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience with proficiency in React, TypeScript, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
- Experience building and launching complete full-stack features from development through experimentation and production rollout with minimal oversight.
- Hands-on experience with React and Next.js for componentized UI and email systems that compile to production HTML.
- Expertise in HTML/CSS and responsive email development across clients, devices, and dark mode, with attention to performance, accessibility, and rendering fidelity.
- Experience with distributed systems and data engineering, including pipeline design, schema optimization, and data quality; exposure to Airflow or dbt is required.
- Experience building and testing REST API integrations using JSON and webhooks with secure, privacy-compliant data handling.
- Ability to write performant code, improve logging and metrics, and identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Strong product mindset, communication skills, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Preferred experience includes SEO/AEO, Schema.org, search crawling and indexing, Core Web Vitals, AI-powered search, Liquid, AMPscript, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Litmus, Email on Acid, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, Apache Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL databases, Snowflake, Redshift, design systems, experimentation, and AI-enabled workflow solutions.
