Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features for patient engagement, care coordination, claims management, and operational efficiency.
  • Use Claude Code and related AI development tools to build, test, troubleshoot, and maintain full-stack software products.
  • Translate requirements into scalable, user-focused solutions with product, design, engineering, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Develop APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and LLM integrations.
  • Apply software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices to testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and performance optimization.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and implementation approaches.
  • Support additional project tasks and team objectives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or full-stack application development.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Claude Code to implement features, debug code, and validate functional software products.
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable programming languages, with experience developing frontend components, backend services, and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs through APIs, prompt engineering, AI agents, generative AI workflows, or retrieval augmented generation.
  • Ability to review AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and test coverage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is an additional qualification.
  • Familiarity with Cursor, Codex, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, or AI orchestration frameworks is an additional qualification.
  • Experience deploying AI applications or supporting healthcare, payer/provider, federal government, or Department of Veterans Affairs technology initiatives is an additional qualification.
  • U.S. citizenship is required; selected candidates must complete a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance when required.
