Base Salary
$193k - $309k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient and scalable systems critical to customer operations.
- Lead complex projects spanning multiple engineering teams.
- Design solutions that anticipate future needs and account for technical tradeoffs.
- Communicate technical direction and guide the team through execution while improving quality practices.
- Improve engineering productivity as a force multiplier.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering and operating mission-critical production services at scale.
- End-to-end ownership of high-throughput systems and distributed architecture.
- Ability to articulate sophisticated project roadmaps and enable engineering teams to execute them.
- Ability to establish technical authority and make decisions balancing immediate outcomes with long-term strategy.
- Strong communication, humility, empathy, respect for peers, and commitment to continuous improvement.
