Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, test, and support low-level on-premises software, firmware, and hardware-integrated systems.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, and manufacturing teams to deliver scalable and high-performance technologies.
- Apply GenAI tools to diagnostics, scripting, and day-to-day engineering tasks.
- Work with networking protocols, operating systems, boot processes, storage technologies, and hardware interfaces.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, C, and C++.
- Support software development lifecycle and software testing activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C, and C++.
- Good understanding of AI/ML, GenAI architecture, and prompt engineering.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, computer networks, NFS, SMB, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
- Understanding of Linux and Unix OS internals, FreeBSD architecture, OS booting, BIOS/UEFI, and GRUB.
- Understanding of NAS, SAN, NVMe, PCIe, Ethernet interfaces, RAID, SSDs, iSCSI, and NVMe over Fabrics.
- Exposure to software development lifecycle, software testing concepts, and automation scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
