Base Salary
$109k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers to design, build, operate, and improve customer-focused products and services.
- Break complex and ambiguous problems into well-defined components and contribute to scalable, reliable software services.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and validation of AI-generated code.
- Write clean, maintainable code and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
- Participate in development, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, production support, and on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old and enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
- Have experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Have experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles.
- Have experience using AI-assisted development tools in an academic or professional setting.
- Have a degree conferral date between October 2027 and September 2029 and at least one academic term remaining after the internship.
- Preferred qualifications include prior technical internships or projects, experience with AWS, SQL or NoSQL database systems, AI development tools, open-source projects, or version control systems.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ownership and initiative, communication skills, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Benefits
- Full-time, in-person internship lasting 12 weeks, generally beginning in May or June 2027 and ending in August or September 2027; other 2027 seasonal openings may be available.
- Interns typically work Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week, generally between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
