Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix software problems using sound and creative engineering principles.
- Create and implement shipping-quality code for products, services, or features with guidance.
- Complete software projects collaboratively and document and explain work for long-term continuity.
- Improve technical solutions by incorporating feedback and following established quality and security practices.
- Learn team-specific technologies, engineering methods, tools, best practices, and relevant industry developments.
- Partner with mentors, managers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and develop engineering plans.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with at least one semester or term remaining after the internship, or currently pursuing a master’s degree under the same conditions.
- Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Must successfully verify the stated security clearance and pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Must verify U.S. citizenship because of citizenship-based legal restrictions.
